January 27. 1981 Guitar Classes Are Scheduled The Kings Mountain Parks and Recreation Department will be sponsoring two guitar classes in room 113 of the Kings Moun tain Neighborhood Facility Center (Community Center) located at 208 North Cleveland Avenue. Youth Guitar, for teens and pre-teens will be held on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 9 p.m. starting on February 4. Participants will be asked for a nominal $10.00 fee at the time of registration. Adult Guitar will be held on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 9 p.m. starting on February 3. Par ticipants will be asked for a nominal $ 10.00 fee at the time of registration. Registration for both classes will be taken Monday through Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 12 noon, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. in Room 102 of the Center. Registration will also be taken on the first evening of classes if space is still available. Adult Dance Classes Set The Kings Mountain Parks and Recreation Department will be sponsoring three adult dance classes in Room 202 of the Kings Mountain Neighborhood Facili ty Center, (Community Center) located at 208 North Cleveland Avenue. Beginners Square Dancing covering basic steps will be held Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. starting February 3. Participants will be asked for a nominal $6.00 fee at the time of registration. Basic Adult Disco will be held Monday and Wednesday even ings from 6 to 7:15 starting February 2. Participants will be asked for a nominal $5.00 fee at the time of registration. Advanced Adult Disco, for those with Basic Disco knowledge, will be held on Mon day and Wednesday evenings from 7:30 to 8:45 p.m. starting February 2. Participants will be asked for nominal $5.00 fee at the time of registration. Registration for all three classes will be taken Monday through Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 12 noon, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. in Room 102 of the Center. Registration will also be taken on the first evening of classes if sptace is available. Tennis Meeting Is Scheduled The North Carolina Tennis Association will have its winter meeting at the Hilton Inn, West Market Street, in Greensboro, February 6 and 7. Major aspects of the tennis programs of North Carolina, along with special clinics for um pires, tournament directors, and a workshop discussing the USTA/Michelobe Light League, are scheduled. If interested in tennis in the Kings Mountain area or to im prove all levels of play and would like to attend these meetings, contact Supt. of Parks and Recreation, Mike Nappi, at 739-6995.
