Bradley’s contest area was General Merchandising - Adver tising and Display. He also won a star for proficiency in all areas of general merchandising. He will be participating in the State competition to be held in Charlotte April 30, May 1 and 2. Other students attending the district event were Trina Lovelace and Lisa Greene par ticipating in Food Marketing Contest and Margaret Grant participating in Restaurant Marketing. Mrs. Adelaide Allison, local DECA advisor, ac companied the group Albemarle. to GOSPEL SINGING There will be a gospel singing at Eastside Baptist Church, j Highway 29, Blacksburg, Satur-1 day at 7 p.m. Featured groups include “The Goodnewsmen,” j “Hinkle Little and Sons and Daughters of Faith,” “The Keenan Family,” and “The Hampton Quartet.” Rev. M.P. Hampton, pastor, invites everyone to attend. A nursery will be provided. GOSPEL SINGING There will be a gospel singing at the Holiness Christian Mis sion, 215 Blanton Street, Satur day at 7 p.m. Featured singers will be the “Singing Epps” of Belton, S.C., and the “Gospel Sounds” of Kings Mountain. The public is invited. REVIVAL Eastside Baptist Church of j Kings Mountain will hold revival servics the week of | March 23 at 7 p.m. each night. Rev. Leon Michaels of Elkin, j N.C., will be the visiting evangelist. Rev. James Williams, pastor, invites everyone to at tend. GREAT DECISIONS Because the moderator for the final session of Great Decisions ■81 is out of the country, the meeting scheduled for March 23 has been postponed to March 30. At that time Dr. Fernando Bertoli will speak on “Central America and the Caribbean.” The meeting, as usual, will be held at 7:45 p.m. at the Woman’s Club building.
