We intend to employ Carolinians and not bring in people from out of state.” Dickens said his firm will utilize area trade schools and community colleges in training of personnel. “We intend to have the heaviest machinery capabilities in the southeast,” he said, “and we will have the capability of machining individual pieces weighing up to 30 tons.” The groundbreaking ceremony will be held within 10 days, Dickens said.
