At Seminar
Dr. Terry R. Sellers of Kings
Mountain recently attended a
two day intensive training
seminar sponsored by the Inter
national Academy of Neuro-
Vaseular Disease in Atlanta, Ga.
Dr. Sellers learned the latest
methods and procedures in
Neuro-Vascular screening and
diagnosis. Non-lnvasive Neuro-
Vascular examination techni
ques using Plethysmography and
Ultra-Sound doppler are rapidly
replacing the dye injection
studies because this new pro
cedure is sa%r, accurate and can
be easily performed in the doc
tor’s office.
Cindy Bridges
Is Honored
Miss Cindy Bridges, whose
wedding to Chris Tindall takes
place May 2 in First Baptist
Church, was honored at a
lingerie shower hosted by Mrs.
Michael Bennett at her home at
Lake Montonia. Entertaining
with Mrs. Bennett was her
mother, Mrs. Wayne Russell.
The 20 guests showered the
bride-to-be with lingerie gifts and
the hostesses also took the occa
sion to present their wedding
gift.
The refreshment table was
decorated in an apricot and
white color motif and party
pickups were served with punch.
The crystal punch bowl was
decorated with ivy and daffodils.
Arrangements of spring flowers
were used throughout the house.
Miss Bridges was presented a
white carnation corsage which
she pinned to the shoulder of her
burgundy party dress.
Workshop
At Gaston
A Small Business Workshop
will be held at Gaston College on
April 16. This workshop is being
sponsored by the Gaston College
Business Department, the Small
Business Administration, the
Gaston Chapter of SCORE, and
the Gaston County Chamber of
Commerce. Admission is open to
anyone planning to start and
operate a small business or to
anyone who is currently
operating a small business. A
registration fee of five dollars
will be charged. Registration
begins at 8:30 a.m. in the Myers
Center Lobby.
This Small Business
Workshop is a day-long presen
tation. The program includes
specialists in each major manage
ment activity who will give short
talks and lead dicussions about
each management area. Subjects
to be covered are: Local Business
Conditions; Sources of Capital
and Other Financial Factors;
Marketing and Promotion;
SCORE and Its Benefits to Small
Business; Business Organization,
Regulations and Taxes; Record
Keeping; and Management
Assistance and Information
Sources.
