CROSS Funeral services for Niles Raymond Cross, 53, of Gastonia, owner of Plastic Pro ducts, Inc. of Kings Mountain, were conducted Wednesday afternoon from Sisk Funer^ Flome Chapel by Rev. Ronnie Henson and Rev. W. Flay Payne, interment following in Westview Cemetery. Mr. Cross died Monday in Gaston Memorial Hospital. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Margie Cross; his mother, Mrs. Ora Childers; two sons, Joe Cross of Gastonia and Ken Cross of Bessemer City; two brothers. Bob Cross and Paul Childers, both of Gastonia; and two sisters, Mrs. May Burgin and Mrs. Jackie Huffman, both of Gastonia. CLARENCE B. MOSS IR. Funeral services for Clarence B. Moss Jr., 66, of 108 Center St., who died Monday in the Kings Mountain Hospital, were conducted Wednesday after noon at 4 p.m. from Oak Grove Baptist Church of which he was a member. Rev. W.J. Goudelock and Rev. Ansel Center of ficiated, and interment was in the church cemetery. Mr. Moss was a retired employee of the City of Kings Mountain and a native of Kings Mountain, son of the late Clarence and Minnie Hutchins Moss. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Louise McClelland Moss; one son, Jeffrey Scott Moss of Kings Mountain; one daughter. Miss Connie Moss of Kings Moun tain; four brothers, Adam Moss Employees Complete Courses Five employees of Home Sav ings & Loan Association have successvully completed courses of study offered through the In stitute of Financial Education, Charlotte Chapter No. 158. Attending the Savings Ac count Administration course were Carol Richardson and Brenda Sipes. Attending Teller Operations Courses were Amy Ware, Deb bie Day and Judy Blalock. Mrs. Ware and Mrs. Day are employed by the Bessemer City branch. All courses were taught at Garringer High School in Charlotte. Foote Sales Increased Foote Mineral Company reported net earnings of $2,356,000 for the first quarter of 1981, compared with $2,146,000 for the same period in 1980. After provision for preferred dividends of $0.55 per preferred share, earnings per common share were $0.29, com pared to $0.27 per share a year ago. Sales were $48.2 million, compared with $44.4 million in the 1980 quarter. E.P. MINNIE CASHION Funeral services for Mrs. Min nie Lea Cashion, 85, of 300 York Road, widow of Charles Everette Cashion, were con ducted Sunday afternoon from First Wesleyan Church of which she was a member. Mrs. Cashion died Friday in the Kings Mountain Hospital after several week’s illness. She was the daughter of the late George and Sarah Vess Con nor. Surviving are three sons, Donald Cashion of Riverside, California, Charles Cs&hion of Surfside ^ach, S.C. and Bob Cashion of Kings Mountain; one daughter, Mrs. Joyce Greenlease of Jacksonville, N.C.; one brother, Roy Connor of Kings Mountain; three sisters, Mrs. Hester Cole of Jacksonville, N.C., Miss Gertie Connor of Kings Mountain and Mrs. Boyd Stacy of Blacksburg, S.C.; and seven grandchildren.
