A Letter From The Mayor The City of Kings Mountain NORTH CAROLINA The Historical City June 5, 1981 TO; PERSONNEL OF SPECTRUM FIBERS, INC. LADIES AND GENTLEMEN: My sincerest congratulations as you celebrate the 10th Anniversary of SPECTRUM of Kings Mountain. The success of a firm depends largely on the loyalty, dedication and ability of its personnel; therefore, each of you can be very proud of the part you have played in SPECTRUM'a success. At the time SPECTRUM officials were considering establishing a new plant, they were inspecting a number of sites. One of their main reasons for selecting Kings Mountain, as stated in the News Release in April, 1971, was that of the people in the Kings Mountain area. Your contributions along with the skilled planning and management techniques of SPECTRUM'a Officials have resulted in a stable and most outstanding operation that occupies an enviable position in Kings Mountain's industrial community. Again, my sincerest congratulations to all of you who make up the SPECTRUM family, my best wishes KW Moaumvnt at sMc of tbe surrcMar of th* Brliiili Forcof ertrted la 1*09 b> the UaMeO Stales la Kings Mountain National MOMar) Park.
