Crocker, 57, of Cherryville, were conducted Sunday at First United Methodist Church in Cherryville by Dr. Robert Stamey and Chaplain Jack Cooke. Burial was in City Memorial Cemetery. He died Friday in a Winston- Salem hospital. He was a Gaston County native and was employed by Burlington Industries Ranlo plant for more than 30 years. He was a member of the Board of Trustees of First United Methodist Church and was a World War II vet. He was the son of the late Ray Crocker, herald add obits Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Emma Eaker Crocker of Route 1, Crouse; his wife, John nie B. Crocker; a daughter, Mrs. Frances Rhoney of Kings Moun tain; a brother, J. Harold Crocker of Crouse; and a ister. Mrs. Margie Lineberger of Crouse. D.D. CARROa Funeral services for Dennis Day Carroll, 33, of Gastonia were conducted Friday at Sisk Funeral Home Chapel in Bessemer City by the Rev. H.J. Moose. Burial was in Mountain Rest Cemetery. Day died Wednesday at Gaston Memorial Hospital. A Gaston County native, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Carroll of Union, S.C. He was employed as a sales represen tative for Bradley Flyer and Spindle Company in Gastonia. Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his wife, Judy Hunt- singer Carroll; a son. Rush Car- roll of the home; two daughters. April and Do.ii Carroll, both of the home; five brothers, Tom Carroll of Spartanburg, S.C., Frank Carroll of Kings Moun tain, Steve Carroll of Cowpens, S.C., and Coleman and Mike Carroll, both of Union, S.C.; and three sisters, Mrs. Ethel Ham mett of Pacolet, S.C., Mrs. Becky Davis of Union, S.C., and Mrs. Jean Ramsey of Kings Mountain. 122 York Rd.
