The speaker for Wednesday night’s opening service was Stretch Bollinger. Other speakers include Paul Williams, Thursday night; Bennett Masters, Friday night; Charles R. TEACHERS There will be a Sunday School teachers meeting Thurs., Jan. 7 at 7:30 p.m. for teachers of children’s classes (grades 1-6) at David Baptist Church. Anyone interested in working with the children is invited to attend. ^ A CHURCH COUNCIL " " There will be a meeting of the David Baptist Church Youth Church Council on Sun., Jan. 10 at 5:30 p.m. at the church. MISSION KICKOFF Dixon Pri.sbyterian Church will kickoff its Mission Season Sat, Jan. 23 with a covered dish supper at 6 p.m. in the church fellowship hall. Elizabeth McGill, Erskine College student who was a youth missionary in Zaire last summer, will present the program. The public is in vited to attend. MISSION FRIENDS On Tues., Jan. 12 at 7:30 p.m., a Mission Friends Conference for leaders will be held at David Baptist Church. Anyone in terested in working with Mission Friends on Wednesday nights is welcome. A Mission Friend em phasis will be held during 11 a.m. worship services on Sun., Jan. 17. radio broadcast Sunday morning worship ser vices on WKMT Radio will be broadcast during the month of January from Second Baptist Church.
