WILSON Mrs. Tula Hannon Wilson, 82, of Route 6, Kings Mountain, died Tuesday at 10:45 a.m. at Kings Mountain Hospital following several months illness. A Cleveland County native, she was a homemaker and the daughter of the late T.A. and Ollie Whistnant Hannon. Surviving are her husband, Thomas E. Wilson; two sons, Thomas E. Wilson Jr. of Gastonia and Gene Wilson of Belmont; three daughters, Mrs. John (Ann) Tria and Mrs. Howard (Becky) Dixon, both of Kings Mountain, and Mrs. Finley (Helen) Clarke of Lake James; one brother, Claude Har mon of Kings Mountain; one sister, Mrs. R.M. Dover of Kings Mountain; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was a member of David Baptist Church, where funeral services will be conducted Thurs day at 3 p.m. by the Rev. James W. Parks and the Rev. N.S. Har din. The body will lie in state from 2 until 3 p.m. Burial will be in Cleveland Memorial Park in Shelby. The family received friends Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home in Shelby. QUINCIBA WALLACE GAFFNEY, S.C. - Mrs. Quin- ciba Mitchem Wallace, 62, of 311 Sarratt Street, died ^turday morning. A Cleveland County native, she was the daughter of the late Neviage and Carrie Webber Mit chem. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Shelby, where she was a member of the Diana Bostic Missionary Circle, the Davidson Chorus and the Usher Board. She was also a member of Sunrise Chapter 107 of the Order of Eastern Star, the M.C.B.A. Association of North Carolina and the Willing Workers Club of Limestone Bapt- tist Church. Survivors include her hus band, Frank Wallace; a stepson, C.J. Wallace of Gaffney; a sister, Mrs. Alberta Thombs of Kings Mountain; a stepbrother, O.V. Ellis of Kings Mountain; six grandchildren and sever, great grandchildren. Funeral services were con ducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at Good Citizens Named At Bethware School Bethware School has selected its good citizens for the past nine weeks grading period. They in clude: Kindergarten - Cassandra Adams, Jason Spencer, Nicole Patterson, Cale McDaniel, Ann Marie Sanders, Paul Leigh. First grade - Jennifer Payseur, Jonathan Yarboro, Jennifer Sisk, Brian Foster, Toneika Stevens, Benji Ingle, Heather Stewart, Brad Grigg. Second grade - Karen Helms, Jason Rayfield, Alice Penn ington, Cynthia Camp, Mark Carpenter. Third grade - Clifford Dills, Christy Dixon, Mark Byers, Donna Riley, Everette Thombs. Fourth grade - Alison Parizo, Joe Champion, Jennifer Jones, Tyson Dover, Tammy Roberts, Kevin Dellinger. Fifth grade - Wendy Sisk, Shane Hammett, Jena Anthony, Gray Rikard, Lisa Blanton, Scott Wheeler. Shiloh Baptist Church in Shelby by the Rev. R.E. Devoe, the Rev. W.E. Good and the Rev. Victor Carson. Burial was in Webb Memorial Lawns. ROBERTA EGGLESTON Mrs. Roberta Black Eg gleston, 80, of 139 Ark Street, died Friday at Cleveland Memorial Hospital after several months illness. A Cleveland County native, she was the daughter of the late Sylvanus and Mamie Huff- stickler Bridges. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church and was a retired textile employee. Surviving are two sons, Lloyd Black of Wharton, N.J., and Robert Black of Port Haveneme, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Lenkowee of Menlo Park, Calif., and Mrs. Marjorie Helton of Kings Mountain; two brothers. Golden Bridges of Kings Moun tain and Glenn Bridges of Burl ington; and two sisters, Mrs. Cletus (Nellie) Carpenter of Shelby and Mrs. Theodore (Bessie) Seagle of Salisbury. Funeral services were con ducted Sunday at 3 p.m. at Har ris Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. W.F. Monroe an the Rev. Clarence McMahan. Burial was in Cherryville City Cemetery. D.S. MITCHEM lACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Daniel Scott Mitchem, 24, of 9645 Bay Meadow Road, died January 30 in an automobile accident. Formerly of Kings Mountain, he was the son of Dan and Fran cis Huffstetler Mitchem of Greensboro. Other survivors include one brother, Steve Mitchem of Rich mond, Va.; his paternal grand mother, Lillian Mitchem of Kings Mountain; and his mater nal grandfather, Dan Huffstetler of Cherryville. Funeral services were con ducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home, North Elm Street Chapel, by the Rev. Charles Zimmerman and the Rev. Grady Faggart. Burial was in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Youth Baseball Inc., in care of the City Recreation Depart ment, GrMnsboro, N.C. 27402.
