The trio will represent the school in the annual Kings Mountain Kiwanis Club Talent Show in April at B.N. Barnes Auditorium. Jennifer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Humphries, won the kindergarten-first grade division. She sang “Daffy Daffodils.” Angela, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Hawkins, won the second-third grade division. She played a piano solo “Never on Sunday." Greg, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Williams, won the fourth-fifth grade division. He sang “I Write the Songs.” Shirley Austin, elementary schools music teacher for the Kings Mountain District Schools System, was master of ceremonies. Other participants in the K-1 division were Holly Goforth, who played a piano solo “Henry The Cat”, and A.shley Dye, who tap danced.
