T. A. ACTIVITIES Although no date has been set for the annual P.T.A. Stunt Show, rehearsals in dicate that everyone will be reader for it about mid-Iviarch. The ladies will present three stunts and some in-between the act duets and quartettes. The men will present four st'unts, the nature of which seems to be secret at this time. But we notice they are clearing their throats for singing, learning a few old jokes, talking about bronco busting and the like,and it won't be long before it will all come out in the open. At the February P.T.A, meeting, vice- president Marvin Howard presided,since Frank Teeter was still hospitalized at Marine Hospital in Norfolk. Mrs.Selma Spencer read the treasurer's report, which with dues collected indicated a balance of $275•13 in the treasury, Mr, Rondthaler reported that the pipe fittings are already nn hand for the heat-installation job at the Recreation Hall, Labor is to be volunteers. (One big pipe joint vras donated by a '/ifinston- Salem friend who likes to fish at Ocracoke, V'ihen Mr,Rondthaler wrote and asked him to secure the necessary joint, Rob Brewer sent it free of charge,Thanks!)
