proceeds for the Junior-Senior banquet.

of the occasion,and they have plans for
some good lively entertainment, prizes
for the tackiest costumes (in fact more
than one prize), and a Cake Walk,..the
cake going to the lucky person who is
standing on the chalk line when the
music stopsi So be thinking about your
costume so you will be a prize winner.; .
There will be sandwiches and.drinks for
sale. Admission is same as alv/ays; 25^
Post Sale, proceeds to be used to keep
going the monthly payments on the new
carpeting in the Church. Members of both
Circles are participating in plans. The

being made to get the ferry in ©peration
some time around Labor Day," lilr,Grigsby
goes on to. suggest that the Civic Club
when it gets new maps "may wish to start
making mention of the new ferry service,
"Under the large letters OCRACOKE you may
wish to put a short statement to the effect
it is expected the new ferry will be in
operation ".(in September),

will be out on that day to ask for your
contribution, so please have it ready for

of the Salk Vaccine, the proceeds of the
Campaign this year will be use in part for
another crippling disease,arthritis, and
caused by birth defects,this hel^
