Smith Reynolds Foundation of Winston-Salem of SIOO,OOO for an expansion program. This an nouncement was, made by Presi dent Wills B. Player. The grant was a part of nearly $2 million in gifts to colleges and hospitals in North Carolina made by the foundation at the close of the year. In announcing the grant. Dr. Player said: “We hope that with this assistance we will now be able to erect a badly-needed health and physical education building, prob ably in the fall.” Also included in Bennett’s capi tal improvement plans are a class room building and an infirmary.
