Corson, ot Philadelphia, Pa„ one of the outstanding scholars and leaders of Methodism, will be the speaker for the annual David D. Jones service of re membrance to be held in Pfeif fer Chapel on the Bennett Col lege campus, Sunday, January 16, at 4 p. m. Dr. Jones served as presi dent from 1026 until shortly be fore his death in 1956 and was associated with the guest speak er in many undertakings. Bishop Corson, holder of nearly a score of honorary de grees from colleges and uni versities across the nation, has served as a college president and has been a visiting lecturer at many institutions of higher learning. Representing the alumnae will be Mrs. Sarah Herbin, ’36, of Greensboro, field represen tative of the North Carolina Fund.
