At this entry He entered into the temple, looked rbout and went out again (Mark 11:11). It was His Father’s house, but He could not worship there. It had become a den of thieves. No, this was no triumphal en try. Look at Him, meek, lowly, riding on an ass’ colt, and then see Him coming again as Rev. 19:11-16 describee it. How dif ferent the symbolism! Once meek, lowly and "hav ing salvation.” Now "in right eousness doth He judge and make war.” Once, riding "an ass’ colt.” Now, "Behold! a white horse!” And those eyes, once filled with tears are now "as a flame of fire.” Our Lord’s true triumphal entry is still future. Accord ing to prophecy He will come again, put down all rebellion against Himself and reign In glory and power. Thank God He has not yet done so! In love He still points to Calvary, where He died for our sins and offers us the riches of His grace. “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved” (Acts 16:31). by Prof. Thelma Siler, The 11 a. m„ service mark ed the 2nd Quarterly Confer ence which convened at Jordan Grove Church. Oftentimes it may seem that negative forces, the forces of evil, are more powerful than the forces of good. It seems that these evils forces are hold ing the whiphand hi our world. This Is NOT so. And the person who keeps his heart and mind centered on God know s full well that It Is not so, and can NEVER be so. Regardless of how unjust or how unharmonious condl t io n s may seem to be in your per sonal affairs or in those of the world, your faith in the Di vine justice of God, your posi tive stand lor His principles, gives you power over injustice or inharmony, or, in fact, over all circumstances. The only power that a seem ingly difficult situation lias is the power that you yourself con cede to it through your belief in it and through your own submission to it. All diffi culties loss their power over you when you look upon them merely as challenges to be met and overcome. Through our daily prayer, we can come to recognize and ac knowledge God as the ONE and ONLY power in our lives and in our world. We can know that His law of love and jus tice Is changeless and eternal, and that we must allow it to act in our lives and affairs nowand always. We have only to trust and turn to our Father in lov ing and faithful prayer to avail ourselves of His help. Armed with the knowledge of God’s ever-present love and power, we can refuse to be disturbed by appearances. We acknowledge God as the only power. And we know that His will, which is justice for all, will be done always. "Jehovah is good, a strong hold In the day of trouble.” --Nah. 1;7. Bemetf Prof. At Conftreiice GREENS BORO--Dr. Charles E.
