BOULWARE THANKSGIVING SPEECH QUESTION: I have been in vited to make a "Thanksgiving Day Speech." I don't want to do the usual thing and talk about the Pilgrims, turkey, and so on. What would you suggest that is different? - Mrs. L. C. D. ANSWER: For example, I sug gest that you use a subject based upon the Bible theme of the rich man who built new and bigger barns. When he had taken an inventory of his stock, he said; "I have more than enough to spare. My soul be at ease.’’ What happened? That night, the Lord sent death for his life. The wealth that he left behind was enjoyed by his re latives. Many worthwhile ideas can be organized and arranged for this theme. I guarantee that it will be novel.
