Bennett College Proxy Soys We Mnst Be Creators GREENSBORO --Calling at tention to the fact that “we are called upon to react to an ever changing environment,” Presi dent Isaac H. Miller, Jr., .told the Bennett College comrpunity on Monday that creative change may well mean the discarding of uncreative tradition. In his second major address to the students and faculty, President Miller reminded them that “the events that guide our destines today are not the same as those that guided the destines of the founding fath ers.” He paid tribute to the historic past of Bennett, but hastened to add that “all that we have to w'ork with Is today and the hope of tomorrow.” “Do not be afraid of con flict and protest,” he declar ed, “but make them creative. Reckless and irresponsible protest must be guarded a galnst. We must collectively create tradition of orderly disciplined change. Let us be a creator rather than a creature of a new society.” THE VETERAN’S CORNER EDITOR’S NOTE: Below are authoritative answers by the Veterans Administration to some of the many current ques tions from former servicemen and their families.
