The Twenty First Annual Johnston County Ham and Egg Show and Sale will be staged at the Johnston Coun ty Agricultural Building, in Smithfieki, Wednesday and Thursday, April 10 and 11. One hundred fifty hams and 125 dozens of eggs are ex pected to be exhibited, states Hernando F. Pa.mer, Agricul tural Extension Agent. Registration and en ries will be made from 9:00 a.m. uj 11:00 a.m. Wednesday Ap ri- 10. Judging will begin a: 11:30 a.m. The Awards Ban quet will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday. Free hams and eggs will be given to lucky ticket hold ers. The 1967 Grand Champion Ham exhibitor was Joseph M. Sanders Route 1, Clayton. The ham was purchased by First Citizens Bank and Trust Co., Smithfield for $345.00. The 1967 Grand Champion Dozen Eggs was exhibited by Mrs. Blanche DeLainc Route 1. Clayton. The eggs were pur chased by Branch Banking Ac Trust Company, Selma for $70.00.
