From the Recess Club the Temptations and Senators Ken nedy and Hart traveled to the Raleigh House, in nearby South field, Michigan, where the sena tors spoke briefly and the Temps performed to an audi ence of over 3,000 enthusiatic Hart supporters. At the Raleigh House Mo town’s famous quintet was in troduced by Senator Kennedy to climax the program with a splendid performance that ani mated the audience to clap ping hands and tapping toes to the Motown beat of the Temps own rhythm section and the Jimmy Wilkins’ dance band. The Temptations rocked into their recent hit tune, “Ball of Confusion,” and the young Hart boosters jammed closer to the stage to feel the vibra tions of that “now" sound. The sound was so heavy, the tune so hot that it blew the circuits in all the microphones and the throbbing PA systepi suddenly went dead. The trouble could only be traced to the fact that the Temptations are “too much!” * * * A 53-year-old career medi cal administrator, Willard G.
