First Baptist opened Sunday School at 10 a.m. with thesupt., Mr, Alford Thorpe, in charge. The subject of the lesson was '‘Genesis in Christian Perspec tive.” Regular worship serv ices began immediately after Sunday School. Rev. N, A. Trice is pastor. He delivered a very challenging message. He chose his test from the 16th chaptes of St. Matthew 12-16. His sub ject was "Who Am I?*’ Mu sic was rendered by the Go® - pel Chorus accompanied by Mr. Charlie Prince. Visitors wor shipping with us were members of the neighboring churches and Mr. Andrew Speed, brother of Mrs, Susie Trice. Four A&T Students Get I rrants GREENSBORO - Four North Carolina A&T State University students will receive full schol arships from the Gulf Oil Corp oration next fail. According to Vance E, Gray, director of student financial aid, four students in the University's Department of Mechanical En gineering will receive the Gulf Honors Scholarships. He said the grants will Include tuition, fees and books up to SISOO and are renewable if the students maintain satisfactory progress in their programs erf study. Beginning next year, an in coming freshman will be se lected in each subsequent year so that Gulf will have four continuing scholarships in force at A&T each year.' When the program was set up last year, Gulf had planned to introduce one Honors Scholar ship a year to a freshman so that by 1972 and in subsequent years four students would lie benefiting from this program.
