The United Progressive So
cial Glut was at its “picnic
best” Sunday at the Elks Home
with its annual outing. The rea
son for the indoor affair was
the uncertain weather condition.
It has been planned for the Ra
leigh Beaeh-Milburnie. Ladies
attired in lovely sports wear
and men with slacks and sport
shirts were the order of the
day.
At the appointed hour, every
one was invited to pass the
tables and partake of the de
lectables. Please don’t ask me
what they had. Let me sum it
by saying "Everything”. Each
member of the club had guests
of honor. At an early hour
Monday some of the guests were
still talking of the affair and
right they were!
My own friend, Mr. Cecil
Flagg, Lincoln Court, was seen
with his brothet “A!” in the
car. It was real nice to see
