Saturday, September 4, at First
Baptist Church on Spring St.,
Louisburg. Rev. C. L. Faison
officiated.
The bride is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs, Olir.&r An
derson of Fran kiln ton. The
groom is the son of the late
Lynwood Arrington and Mrs.
Irene A. Bullock.
Given in marriage by her
father, attired in formal tails,
the bride wore a baby pink
bridal dress with high duchess
neck and long fitted sleeves,
trimmed with alencon lace and
tiny pearl buttons.
Her shoulder-length veil was
attached to a head-piece, con
sisting of eight leaves, covered
in white silk and seeded pearls.
She carried a bouquet of white
orchids, pink carnations and
streamers,
Mrs. Alice Hawkins present
ed the nuptial music. Mrs.
Glendoro Powell, soloist, sang
“0 Perfect Love”, “Whither
Thou Goest” and, as the couple
kneeled at the altar, she sang,
“The Wedding Prayer*’.
The Church was decorated
with chrysanthemums, glads,
daisies, and emerald palms.
Four candelabras and two flow
er stands were setting or: each
side of the kneeling bench. Fam
ily pews w r ere marked off with
glads, daisies and white ribbon.
Miss Bertha Anderson, sister of
bride, was maid of honor. She
wore a formal yellow satin
gown with yellow velvet ribbon
ana carried a oouquet of yellow
and aqua carnations with rain
bow streamers.
Bridemaids were Misses
Sharon Hawkins, Wilson; Pa
tricia Muller, cousin of bride,
Carolyn Burrell, High Point,
Norrine Arrington, sister of
groom, Louisburg; Mrs. Linda
Pender, cousin of bride, Frank
llnton. All wore aqua formal
gowns with velvet bows, and
carried bouquets of yellow and
aqua carnations with rainbow
streamers. All headpieces were
made by maid of honor.
Mr. Lynwood Arrington,
brother of groom, served as
best man. Ushers w6re Mr.
Jerome Cheeks, Mr. Charles
Perry, Mr. John Moore, Mr.

The bride’s mother chose for
her daughter’s wedding a formal
dress of mint green silk sham-
tung with matching accessorise.
The groom’s mother wore a
street length dress erf palyster
and matching accessories. Both
mothers wore lavender orchids.
F or going away the bride wore
a pink pant suit trimmed In
white. She wore the orchid lifted
from her bouquet.
The bride is a graduate of
B. Person Albin High School.
Franklinton. In 1966, attended
Johnson C. Smith University,
Croft Business College worked
at A & T State University as
secretary and has just grad
uated from W. W. Holden Tech
nical Institute School of
Nursing. She is employed bv
, Memorial Hospital of Wake
County, Raleigh.
The groom is a graduate of
Riverside High School, Louis
burg. In 1966 hs attended and
graduated from Wilson Tech
nical Institute in 1969, He is
employed by Asplundh, Raleigh.
After a honeymoon of unknown
point the couple will reside
temporarily in Franklin County;
plans are made to move to Ral
eigh.
REHEARSAL PARTY
Friday night at eight o’clock
wedding party rehearsal. Im

ic Hall by the bride’s
mother and father.

The reception followed the
ceremony at the brid’s home.
The bridal table was covered
with a pink table cloth over
lapped with white lace. On back
