Fifth in the special series de picting area landmarks, the card is a reproduction of an original watercolor by R. B. Dance of Winston-Salem. The crisp, win - tery picture in shades of gray, rust and blue shows Home Church during a snowstorm. 1 The church has been in contin uous use since its completion in 1800 and is still the heart of activity in the historic Old Sa lem community. Each year, since 1967, inte gon has commissioned a local artist to paint a watercolor es pecially for the holiday season. The painting is then reproduced as a Christmas card and send to shareholders, employees and customers of Integon Corp. The idea came about, said J. Edwin Collette, president of the Ifjl?
