The man said that on this date, after she threatened to leave him, he swallowed a bottle of twen ty-four aspirin. Holland at 2:09 a.m. Thurs day, that she and Miss Martha McNeil, 508 E. Cabarrus, and some other girls were at a night club In the 400 block of S. Bloodworth Street, when she liid Miss McNeil got Into a *^fu55*’ and began fighting, but said some colored males broke them up. Miss Alston said she then went home and came back to the club. Upon her arrival, Miss McNcH was standing m the street with a knife. Miss McNeil told Miss Alston she was going to kill her and they started fighting again and Miss Alston was stabbed In the back and ''cut In several places,” Including the right hand. STEREO IS "SWIPED” Earl MUes, 504 Smlthfleld Street, Informed Officer L. R. Hall at 11:40 p. m. Wednes day, that when he left home that morning, his portable stereo was stUl there. How ever, he declared, when he re turned home that evening from work, he found it to be miss ing. Mr. MUes said the only person seen near the house alt day was a man who rooms upstairs and drives a 1965 or 1966 Ford with .Maryland li cense plates on it. Womble at 9:08 p. rr. Saturday, that Everetle Scott, 35, address unlisted, and an other colored male, stopped him at the corner of Dawson and Dorothea Drive, and demanded that he give (hem some cigar ettes. Ivey said he gave them some and then (hey demanded the entire pack. Ivey refused to give it up and they "Jumped on me and held me or. the ground and took all of my cigar ettes. Then Evorette Scott picked up a brick and struck me in the back, near my ribs.” Mr. Ivey said he did not know whore Scott lives.
