CAROLINIAN Tuesday
that evidences of the
misuse of Rovernment
funds by Kittrell CoUeRe,

the administration of Dr.
I.,nrnie Glenn Horton,
black director of Minority
Affairs in the office of
r 'vernor James E. Hols*

uncovered. He also told
the paper that . the
investiRation by his a-
Rency, was just about
complete and would be
turned over to the
Department of Justice,
WashinRton, D.C.. where
it would be determined
what action would be
taken.
He said that the evidence
tended to disclose violations,
in the handling of the monies,
in many directions. He also
said that it was not without
the realm of reality that fraud
had been perpetrated, wheth
er intentional or unintentional.
He was quite sure there had
been maladministration.
The matter was turned over
to the FBI when an audit was
made by GAO in 1973, which
showed that certain rules and
regulations that govern mon
ies allocated to schools and
kindred agencies, had not
been followed by the junior
college’s administrators.
