This service will continue through the following week. The Community - Service Committee reported that on Oct. 4 at 4 p.m., several sorors, namely Dorothy C. Thomas, Thelma Thomas, Primrose Jackson, Edith Shokes, Lillie Balentine, Mary G. Carter and Merlyn Lytle, went to Hillhaven Sunnybrook Convalescent Center and delivered hanging plants to Aggie Forbes, John Turner, Robert Rowland, Gussie McKinney, Joella Jones, Rosetta Robertson, Curtis Perry and Agnes Musselwhite. They expressed a desire for these flowers grown by Soror Dorothy Thomas and thanked the sorority. The Founder’s Day Committee assured the group of unique activities ■for the observance Nov. 10-16. The Rhomania Golden Holiday Bajl Committee is working weekly with the participants and parents. Sorors Victoria Walters and Mary Peebles are co-chairpersons; Sorors Effie Sanders, Virginia Wall, Susie Daughtry, and Edith Shokes are in charge of the eduational and social activities for the participants. Soror Primrose Jackson is charm clinic advisor to the young ladies and Harry E. Payne is clinic advisor to the young men escorts. The business session closed with the singing of the sorority hymn. The hostess invited the sorors to the patio for a three-course meal consisting of cheese dip and fruit salad, chili and beans, El Rice Compoyo and Cathy’s Apple Salad and orange punch. 'The motif for the meeting was the group’s colors, royal blue and gold, and the flowers were tea roses. Soror Shokes thanked the hostess and her family for an enjoyable evening. Soror Virginia P.
