Atlanta, which was the No. 3 choice in last year’s survey, beat out Dallas Fort Worth and Pittsburgh for the top slot, according to Fortune’s Nov. 4 issue. A survey of 600 executives was conducted for Fortune by Moran Stahl and Boyer, a New York-based corporate relocation firm. Despite its higih crime rate, poor public schools and an economic slowdown that continues to be felt, Atlanta has an abundance of office space and cheap housing, Fortune said. The city’s snaring of the 1996 Summer Olympics has “powered a quantum boost in its overseas image." Pittsburgh, No. 3 on this year’s list, boasts a good work ethic and a central location, which are "especially appealing to light manufacturers.” Indoor and outdoor beautifier NEW CUSTOM-FIT VINYL PATIO DOOR from Season-all* ia designed to replace existing sliding patio doors, and is also ideal for new construc tion, remodeling and additions.
