Mrs. Annie Garrish entertained the Susanna Class of the Metho dist Sunday School on Friday night. A recent letter from Helen B. Garrish, member of last year’s graduating class, indicates that she has been transferred from San Antonio, Texas, to Denver, Color ado. She is in the U. S. Air Corps. C. G. Griffin of Ayden, engineer with the N. C. Highway Commis sion, visited Ocracoke last week for a few days of fishing. Loran Midgett returned home from the hospital last week and is on ten days leave before return ing to Ocracoke Coast Guard Sta tion.
