ing gown of rose pointe lace and
nylon tulle over satin, styled with
a pointed basque bodice with in

tulle, mandarin collar and long
lace sleeves ending in wedding
points over the hands. The very
bouffant skirt of lace, with a wide
insert of tiny accordion pleats of
tulle, over layers of nylon tulle,
formed a sweeping chapel length
train. Her finger tip veil of silk<
illusion was arranged from a coro
net of lace, trimmed with pearls
and sequins. Her bouquet was of
valley lilies, centered with an
orchid.
Mrs. William W. Cumberland, Jr.
of Baton Rouge, La., acting as
matron-of-honor, wore a ballerina
length dress of Neptune green
taffeta styled with a fitted bodice,
a wide scoop neckline forming tiny
sleeves. The full bell-shape skirt
was accented in the back by double
flying panels. She wore matching
shoes and a matching crown of
hair braid sprinkled with jewels
and a sheer circular veil. Her arm
bouquet was of bronze chrysanthe
mums.
Bridesmaids were Miss Jennette
Griffin, of Charlotte; Mrs. L. W.
Wynne, of Robersonville; and Miss

tune green taffeta were styled like
