PAGE TWO NOTICE OF SALE OF VALUABLE PROPERTY Under and by virtue of that certain resolution adopted by the Dare County Board of Education at a duly assembled meeting thereof held on the 17th day of July 1959. and pursuant to the provisions of Section 115-126 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, and amendments there to. the schoolhouse and school house site hereinafter described, being in the opinion of the said board unnecessary and undesirable for public school purposes, the un dersigned will, on Thursday, the 9th day of June 1960, at 12:00 o'clock Noon, at the courthouse door in Manteo, Dare County, North Carolina, offer for sale at public auction to the _ highest bid der for cash the buildings and site hereinafter described: All that certain tract of land together with the houses and improvements thereon, lying and being in the village of Wanchese, on the South end of Roanoke Island in Nags Head Township, Dare County, N. C., adjoining the lands known as the A. P. Tillett tract, the Lula Etheridge tract, Earl Tillett, and others, and bounded as fol lows: Beginning at an iron pipe situated at the curb line in the South portion of the right of way of the N. C. State High way No. 1145 leading through the Village of Wanchese, said iron pipe being in and marking the North corner of the Robert M. Tillett property, formerly the A. P. Tillett property, point being also established by agreement between the Board of Education of Dare County and A. P. Tillett, dated April 4, 1938, and duly recorded in Book 21, page 112, in the office of the Register of Deeds of Dare Comity, N. C., running thence from the beginning point along the Robert M. Tillett, formerly A. P. Tillett, Northwest line South 17 deg. and 45 min. West 477 fleet to an iron pipe in the Lula Etheridge tract North line now the S. B. Tillett property; thence along the S. B. Tillett, formerly Lula Etheridge, lands North 44 deg. and 15 min. West 311 feet to an iron pipe in and marking the intersection of two old ditches, which are now closed, and also marking the South corner of the Earl Tillett lot; thence along the Earl Tillett Southeast line North 18 deg. and 15 min. East 349.25 feet to am iron pipe sit uated in the South portion of the aforesaid highway at the curb line thereof; thence along the curb line in said highway right of way South 68 deg. and 30 min.
