SIXTH GRADE MEETING
The Manteo sixth grade held its
regular monthly meeting Feb. 1
in the school auditorium.
The meetingg was called to order
with devotional and the minutes
were read and approved. Being
short of time they were not able
to have a program, and were sep
arated to go with the agents.
The boys went with Dane Roten,
fire warden, in the absence of Mr.
Rea and saw a film about Smokey
the Bear and fire calls.
Mrs. Gaylord went with the girls
to the library and showed them a
demonstration on “How to Freeze
Seafood.” This was very interest
ing and much enjoyed.
