oyster plates and chicken salad
plates; vegetables, cakes, pies,
sandwiches, and other items; The
public is invited to attend.

Funeral services for Johnnie L
Blake were held at 2 o’clock Friday
afternoon from the Fairfield Chris
tian church with the Rev. J. A
Nealis officiating. Burial was in
the Fairfield cemetery.
Members of Fairfield Masonic
odge served as pallbearers.
Mr. Blake died Tuesday night
in the Beaufort County hospital in
Washington. He was 70 years old.
A retired farmer, he was a mem
ber of the Fairfield Christian
church, the Fairfield Masonic lod
ge and was a member of the Hyde
County ASC committee.
Surviving are his wife, three
sons and a brother.
