The Institute is open to women and men interested in fur thering their knowledge of Yiddish and enriching their cultural ties with a language colorful and inventive, warm and wise. FACULTY: Dr. Emanuel Goldsmith - Dean of the Queens College, N.Y. Yiddish and Jewish Studies Program. Foremost Yiddish lecturer and scholar. Michael Alpert - Gifted Yiddish musician and lecturer. Member of the reknowned Klezmer Band.
