We are delighted to welcome on staff Mrs. Nan Blum, who comes to us from the Com munity School of the Arts. She provides a very enriching and artistic art program for our students. We are also very fortunate to be offering a Computer Pro gram class through Discovery Place. Mr. John Austin has given of his time and is work ing with the students on the IBM computers. They will learn all about software, pro gramming and many other ex citing facets. Again, in conjunction with the JCC, Stu Epstein and his staff are providing a wonder ful athletic program for our boys and girls. The entire school par ticipated in the celebration of the 200th birthday of the Con stitution held on September 17. The children are prepared for the New Year and are plan ning special programs for Suc- coth. They will also help in decorating the community Sukkah. Many interesting pro jects, field trips, etc. are being planned for the months ahead. An aura of enthusiasm and ex citement is prevalent through out the school.
