Jewish Federation Honors Major Donors
The Jewish Federation of
Greater Charlotte honored its
major donors on Thursday,
December 13 at a reception and
dinner held in the Sam Lemer
Center for Cultural Arts. Cary
Bernstein, co-chair of the Major
Gift Campaign, welcomed the
guests and introduced the
evening by saying, “Tonight,
we turn our attention to ‘The
Living Bridge’ and our connec
tion to Jews around the world.
Our goal for the evening is to
bring the community which
lives outside of Charlotte and
Shalom Park closer to you, and
to help you understand how our
Federation campaign directly
impacts the lives of these Jews
living in Israel and around the
world. In particular we want to
bring you closer to Hadera, our
partnership community in
Israel.”
Guest speakers Jennifer
Kraft, Director of Community
Relations at the American
