Winter Programming Support group for families of ehildren with speeial needs, Mon day, November 26, 6-7 PM When you have a ehild with a speeial need, support groups ean be a lifeline. Interaeting with oth ers with similar issues ean offset the feeling that you are the only one in your situation. Plus, other parents ean suggest eoping strate gies and offer tips on useful re- sourees and skilled earegivers. Bereavement Support Group Monday, Deeember 3 and 7, 4— 5:30 PM, Teen Meeting Room Share your feelings with others who have experieneed similar losses and are faeing the same ehallenges. Led by JFS Clinieal Therapist Lynda Woodbum, this new group is open to adults 18+ who have experieneed grief as a result of the death of a loved one. Through diseussion topies and ed ueational materials, you will have the opportunity to share your story in a safe and non-judgmental en vironment, and learn ways to un derstand your grief and explore avenues for growth and healing. Caregiver Support Group Tuesday, Deeember 11, 6 PM and Tuesday, Deeember 18, 10 AM, JFS Taking eare of yourself is just as vital as taking eare of your loved ones.
