Oftentimes school can be a place where students stniggle to compete against their peers and friends to have the best grades or take the best classes. Here, you will be taught healthy strategies to help your teen deal with this un necessary stress. Also, learn strategies to help your teen use time management skills and bal ance school work with other ex tracurricular activities. Seminar is free of charge but pre-registration is required. Domestic Violence Awareness Month Film & Interfaith Panel Dis cussion -1 BELIEVE YOU: Faiths’ Response to Intimate Partner Violence This nationally acclaimed in terfaith documentary explores the stories of survivors of abuse and the response of faith groups to ad dress their needs. Where is dat ing violence most likely to occur? To whom do teens go when it hap pens? Learn about prevention; fa miliarize yourself with the world of cyber-abuse/textual harass ment; the signs and symptoms of an abused or abusive person; and what you can do to help.
