Badin Methodist Church At the present time, progress on our church building is delayed because of our being unable to secure masons. We hope, however, to be able to resume the work of building soon, and carry it on until it is completed. Recently, one Sabbath morning, eigh teen shares of Building and Ijoan stock were subscribed by the Sunday school classes. We now have fifty shaies, of one hundred dollars each. The program at that hour was splendidly rendered, thanks to every pupil in it, and especially to the capable and painstaking trainers, Mesdames West, Capel, and Burris. The collection rounded uj) the splendid sum of sixty-five dollars. Work is i)rogressing quite well u])on our new church building. The higher it reaches toward the heavens, the more does the Lord’s smile make its beauty appear. We have our third big rally for raising funds for its completion October 5. At that time, we hope to raise $1500.00. Help us "go over the top,” and put on the top. Wednesday evening gatherings at our church are beirg delighted and greatly helped as Bro. C. H.
