Mustangs Return
To Top Position
In Sports Program
The see-saw race for top posi
tion in the Sports Program con
tinues as the Mustangs overtake
the Kingfishers and again move
into first place.
The margin, hov^^ever, is but by
one point, and the Kingfishers
could easily move into top position
again should their record of yes
terday afternoon be a good one.
The leaders have a total of S8V2
points, while the Kingfishers, in
second place, have 8TV2. Follow,
in order, the Wildcats with 84,
Skyrockets 79, Devastators 70%,
Buccaneers, 69%, Buffalos 69,
Catalinas 63, Vindicators 62, Cor
onados 59, Helldivers 48, and Ma
riners 44.
Only in gym and tumbling are
the leaders undefeated. Their
record in other sports show four
wins against two losses in wrest
ling, two wins against three losses
in boxing, four wins and two losses
in swimming, four wins and one
loss in soccer, and five wins
against a like number of defeats
in basketball.
The Kingfishers are undefeated
in swimming, while the fourth
place Skyrockets have a perfect
record of six straight wins in box
ing. Other than the above two,
the Buccaneers have won six
straight swimming meets, and the
Vindicators have only a tie to mar
their soccer record.

Cadet R. L. Somerville will start
on the mound in the Monday
game, and Cadet J. A. Farley will

who last year played with Duke,
will follow Gaulin in the batting
order and play shortstop.
