NORFOLK ... ORF is proud to announce that Joan Pas- carosa, Reservotionist, is one of the 1 5 winners of the Sabena Contest. She is planning her free trip to Europe in Sept ember. Believe a few of our other reser - vationists contemplate trips to Europe. Bob Morgan, Agent, was in the hospital for an operation but is now at home. We all wish Bob a speedy recovery. All Norfolk personnel enjoyed their visit to LYH for Reservations School and feel we learned a great deal in regard to SIRP rules. This photo ofCaptain Al Crisler would in dicate anything other than that of apilot, ifthewings were el iminated. He resembles more that of a sailing master(he can occupy that job also). All those rumors we have heard for the post year regarding the construction of additional wings to our terminal building are finally becoming a reality. All the plans have been approved by the CAA, City Officials and the airlines and the builders should have a chance to bid on the proposed con struction sometime in March. We are all looking forward to larger quarters, especial I y a larger operations office. We won't say that its smal 1 but during the past week while we have had weather problems, we could not get to the teletype because of crew baggage, freight, express and mail. TRI-CITIES ... Don Shanks We've got a brand new airline here now - Southeast Airlines. They have their home office in TRI, at Kingsport, Tenn. For your information, this is a scheduled interstate airline holding a State Certifi cate only and is not a member of ATA.At present they have five DC-3s and will operateTRI-TYS-BNA-Jackson-MEM and later are planning to stop CHA-TuI lahoma- Dyersburg-Union City and still later at numerous other spots throughout the State . Four round trips are set up now to operate TRI-MEM with intermediate stops. We now have a dignitary in our midst known as Floterial Representative Paul Puckett. Paul has been with PAIaoout three years and was recently elected to the House by a large majority over two opponents. Paul went toBNA the firstofthe year and has been there fighting for the people's rights ever since. He is expected back about the last of March. We all wish Paul lots of luck in his political adventure. Tom Puckett returned to TRI February 1 after a long absence working in LYH. Welcome back, Tom.
