THE GALAX NEWS AUGUST 20> 1952 PAGE 6 THE SFOV/ MUST GO ON-As Advertised After looking forward to show ing "Whereas Charley?" it began to look as if a substitute picture would have to take ’’Charley's” place, A phone call from Charlotte Saturday informed the manager of the Galax Theatre that the prints of ”V/here's Charley?" had failed to arrive on from California, Fortunately, they arrived in Charlotte Saturday afternoon. The print for Highlands was shipped by air express to Greenville, SoC. Sunday from which point it was brought by car by 0. F, Summer in time for the Sunday matinee which was started thirty minutes late. This is just one of the com plications that may arise in book ing films as soon after release date as this one. Highlands was one of the first five theatres showing this feature in the North and South Carolina area. This picture was run at advanced ad mission to help defray part of the extra expence involved in getting brand new releases.
