CAMP STRAUS COACHING SCHOOL TO OPEN MONDAY, JULY 9th The fifth annual Boy’s Coaching School will open its 1951 session at Camp Straus on Monday morning, July 9th, for boys between the ages of 7 and 14. The school will be in session five weeks with classes being held each week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings, from 9:30 A. M. until 12 noon. The Coaching School will end on Friday, August 10th. Classes will be set up according to age groups with competitive games arranged between boys of the same ages. The fundamentals of many sports will be taught and special emphasis will be placed on swimming and water safety. Each boy attending the school is urged to wear, or bring, a pair of swimming trunks, a "T”, or play shirt, a pair of tennis shoes and towel.
