Coal cars are pulled over the hopper, as shotvn at
right, and the coal is dumped into the track hopper
where it is fed to feeder Number 1. The feeder car
ries the coal to the crusher, after tvhich it goes to a
belt conveyor that carries the crushed coal to the top
of the Boiler Hou-se. The part of the belt conveyor
that is above ground is shown at left. Coal from the
yard area is fed to the crusher by feeder Ntmber 2.

At left is shown the coal conveyor in the
tunnel as it carries the crushed coal from the
crusher to the Boiler House. Above is the
conveyor and walkway from the Transfer
House to the top of the Boiler House. This
photo was taken from the Boiler House roof
looking downward. The conveyors and walk
ways rise at an angle of about 17 degrees with
the ground.
