Over 80 supervisors attended the program in the Medical Center. SAFETY PLAQUE IS AWARDED TO EMPLOYEES OF THE PAPER DIVISION Eddie Grauer of the Liberty Mutual Insurance Company presented a safety plaque to employees of the Paper Division on June 9 for having worked 3,000,000 man-hours without a disabling injury. L. F. Dixon accepted the engraved, stain less steel plaque on behalf of the employees. The record, made between January 2, 1953 and April 16, 1954, set a new world’s safety record for tissue mills. Others participating in the program, which was attended by 84 supervisors, were Lee M. Bauer and Patrick L. Clark, Senior Safety Engineer of Liberty Mutual, from Charlotte. The plaque is now on the wall in the Paper Division Cafeteria. Eddie Grauer District Sales Manager of the Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, is shown presenting the safety plaque to Mr. Dixon. 14
