Film Division Employees Attend National Four employees of the Film Division attended the National Safety Congress in Chicago, Illinois this month, according to W. L. Hensley, Chairman of the central safety committee. Fred M. McCall, Jr., of the Casting Department, and John H. Jack son of the Power and Water Department attended as winners in the 1954 safety contest. John E. Thomas of the Casting Department, the supervisor whose personnel had the highest aver age number of points in the contest, and F. B. Ayers, Safety Supervisor of the Film Division, ac companied the winners on the trip. The safety contest started on April 12 of this year. Winners were determined on the basis of number of injuries in each department, results of Winners in the safety contest receive congratula tions from Production Manager E. L. Lynn and Plant Manager R. P. Bennett. Shown, left to fight: Mr. Lynn, Mr. Bennett, John E. Thomas, Fred M. McCall, Jr., and John H. Jackson. Safety Congress a safety quiz, wearing safety equipment, and orig inal slogans and suggestions submitted. Fred Mc Call compiled a total of 243 points to lead the long list of contestants. Hooper, James Daltqn, Ernest R. Maney, Thomas D. Brown, Richard A. Lan- dreth, R. Paul Ledbetter, Robert T. Eason, Arthur J. Kinsey, and C. J. Bradley.
