He was a participant in the Area Training School in the Greater Columbia area of the Methodist Church. Several sections and books of the Bible were taught by mini sters of the Methodist Church. Chaplain Roy instructed the group in the book of Acts. The group consisted of a cross-sec- tion of people from the greater Columbia area. He said that the trip prov ed to be both interesting and profitable for him^ The Intramural softball league season has almost come to a close, and still the league cham pionship is in doubt as three teams have a chance to win. Green II and Webb took over the lead by defeating the league leaders, Green Basement, by the score of 15-14. The game lasted 10 innings and was won on a home run by Bill Farkas. This leaves Green II and Webb with the only perfect record. Green III, which has to make up several rained out games, also has a chance for the league championship if it wins the re maining games against the three other Green teams. Taylor Base ment and One, lead by John Colley, has made a berth for the upcoming Intramural Tourna ment by winning its last two games. Taylor II has only a very slight chance of participating in the tournament if Green III should lose its remaining three games as well as the play-off game that would develop.
