Soccer Team Loses To Berea \\ Home^^ Is Better Than Ever (Continued From Page Two) pattern. This pattern is accom plished by having a two room unit with a bath separating them. Four people will be in each of these units. There will be a small number of private rooms, also. The two sections of the build ing will have a lobby in common. This lobby will be open to both boys and girls, as will the kitchenette which is off the room. Another of the new fea tures is the patio on the back of the dormitory. Thie patio will be furnished in order that students may use it in any man ner they like. General characteristics of the entire dormitory include ironing rooms and study rooms on each floor, a water cooler and tele phone in each hall, vending ma chines, extra storage areas, built- m furniture when ppssible, an4 waSl-to-wali carpetiag. llhere will also be full length mirrors in each room, as well as more electrical outlets than are now in the dorm rooms. Intercotm- mumications will be on an indi vidual basis, rather than through out the entire dormitory as is prevalent now. Each section of the dormitory will have its own adult advisor, or “dorm mother.” In this fac tor, the two units will be treat ed as entirely separate build ings. The living costs of this new dormitory will be slightly more than now. This is necessary be cause of the added conveniences and higher cost of materials.
