^umniAtotes Class of ’64 active in civic, business, church activities Anne Carter Evans is the mother of twin boys and hves in Burlington. Wesley Steven Hauser is president and CEO for HKS Hardware and Hollow Metal, Inc., in East Bend. Thornton W. Thomas, Jr., lives in Drewville, VA, where he is foreman and supervisor with Southampton Correctional Center. Ronald G. Adleman is a dentist in Midlothian, VA. Jim Parker\\ye,s in Suffolk, VA, where he is a history and government teacher at Nanse- mond River High School. Robert B. Caper is assistant county supervi sor with the Farmers Home Administration is Roanoke Rapids. Eric P. Jones is owner and manager of J. B. Jones Co., Inc., and lives in LaCrosse, VA. Venice Dan Pinerreceived his bachelor’s degree from East Carolina University after graduating from Chowan. He is now owner of Dancon Enterprises in Zebulon and is the father of four children. William Henry Windley, III, is associated with Roses Stores in Henderson as a merchan dise logistics manager. He is married and the father of two children. Lloyd “Mike” Jordan, a program analyst for the Naval Supply Systems Command, lives in Chesapeake, VA, with his wife and two sons. Mark E. Stevens has held many jobs since graduating from Chowan. They include radio and television broadcasting, electronics technician and business manager. He is cur rently administrator and owner of “Berry Hill Nursing Home” and is still teaching music through his own music ministry which devel oped through the 24 years he served as minister of music in Oxford and South Boston, VA. Al Dail, Jr., and Linda Jernigan Dailliwe in Powhatan, VA, and they are the parents of three children. Al is president of Wyndham Proper ties, Inc., and Linda is a teacher at Pocahontas Middle School. Claudia Markham Raderis, a lifeline coordinator and Golden Care Advisor with Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport Nev/s, VA. Susan Joy Strawn-Holloway lives in Lenoir where she is a program coordinator with the Department of Crime Control and Public Safety’s community service work program. Nellie B. Nones is a medical tgranscriptionist at the Memorial Hospital at Easton and lives in Centreville, MD. In beautliful warm fall weather, members of the alumni, faculty, staff, students and friends of the college enjoyed an “old fashion” barbecue on the Alumni Green on Homecoming Day. The picnic outing, which has become a tradition at Chowan, was held prior to the annual Homecoming gridiron classic in Garrison Stadium. Carlyle 0. Hoggaid lives in Powellsville where he is a rural letter carrier with the U. S. Postal Services. He is also a member of the National Guard and serves as a military person nel technician. Peggy Lancaster is a family services supervi sor with Chesapeake Social Services and resides in Chesapeake, VA. Luther Stephen Dale is district manager of Diversey Corporation and lives in Pleasant Garden. He has one son, Nathan Dewitt, who attends Southeast High school. Thomas J. Ballance lives in Norfolk where he is a social studies teacher at Norfolk Chris tian High School. Michael D. Oliver owns and operates Trade Typesetting in Richmond, VA. Harrison S. Greenlaw received bachelor and masters degrees at the University of Mississippi and is now associated with the University of South Carolina. Amy Brown Smith is associated with Carteret General Hospital in Morehead City as a staff registered nurse in the emergency depart ment. Terry Wilde lives in Honesdale, PA, where he is an agent for Prudential Insurance Co. He is married and the father of two daughters. David W. Marvin L. Lassiter, Jr, lives in Roanoke Rapids where he is the Halifax County agency manager for the Farm Bureau Insurance Co. Betty Jean Crosby is employed by Duke University Medical Center as a staff nurse in the clinical research unit and she lives in Burner with her husband and two sons. Vicki Maude Gilbert resides in Clemmons where she is a physical education teacher and department head in the Winston-Salem and Forsyth County Schools. Ronald W. Estes is president and owner of Battlefield Roofing Company and lives in Gainesville, VA, with his wife and three children. Alfreida (Parker) Jodan was awarded a undergraduate degree by East Carolina Univer sity after she graduated from Chowan. She is now a pre-school program coordinator for the Pitt County Mental Health Center. Ronald W. Williams lives in Suffolk, VA, with his wife and son. He is currently associ ated with the Virginia Department of Transpor tation as a right-of-way agent specialist.
