- 5 - J- * TWO RETIRE AT PLANT THREE ^ ^ \... ■:■ .... , I ZEFFIEREE HUNTER Mrs. Zeffieree Hunter, looper at plant three since 1930, has been retired *lue to physical disability. Her request for retirement has been approved by the Retirement Committee, and her Profit Sharing benefits paid in a lump sum. Mrs. Hunter lives at 114 Eccles St. inHigh Point. She is pianist at Ertianuel Raptist Church. Mrs. Hunter will have two sons in Virginia Union College this year, one a senior and one a freshman. WARREN STEELE Warren Steele has retired from his boarding job at plant three in order that he might devote full time to the ministry of his two churches, the AME Zion Meth odist Church in Troy and the AME Zion Methodist Church in Wadesville, N. C. Warren worked for Adams-Millis several times since 1917. His last con tinuous employment dated back to Octo ber 1948. Since that time he had worked as an extra in the boarding room when needed. On June 7, Mr. Pierce received a certificate from the American Society for Metals certifying his completion of the course of lectures on Heat Treatment of Steel. We are proud of Neal for hav ing taken advantage of this opportunity and wish to add our congratulations to those of the Metals Society. Our sincere sympathy is extended to Peggie McIntyre, looper at Plant #1, whose father, John Beck of High Point, passed away on May 18 following a heart attack at the local hospital.
