5 - SERVICEMAN RETURNS Bennie L,ee Craven has returned to the Knitting Department of Plant #1, s^fter serving for three years in the U. S. Marine Corps. Bennie entered the Marine Corps on July 27, 1953 and received eleven weeks of basic training at Parris Island, C., after which he was stationed at Camp Lejeune, N. C. in the Amphibious Tractor Battalion. For four weeks, he attended N. C. O. Leadership School. Except for three three-months*periods spent in Puerto Rica, Bennie remained ®-t Camp Lejeune until his discharge, with a rating of sergeant, on July 27 of this year. On April 17, 1956, Bennie was mar- riedto Miss Saide Shields, and they are now living with her parents on Route #1, Kernersville, N.
